Ellington Land & Development Authority, Inc. (ELDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to safe,
affordable housing and community-centered land development for veterans, seniors, and working families.
ELDA carries out its mission by developing, preserving, and stewarding affordable housing through strategic land
acquisition, workforce-linked housing initiatives, and partnerships with public agencies, financial institutions, and
community organizations.
A core program of ELDA is the Homeownership Workforce Pathways Program, which connects job training and
employment opportunities in construction, property management, and housing maintenance with stable housing
access. Participants receive workforce placement support alongside housing stability services.
ELDA also engages in land stewardship activities that promote long-term affordability, including community-centered
land development and collaboration with local governments and housing partners.
Educational activities include housing stability education, tenant readiness support, and community workshops
designed to promote long-term economic mobility.
ELDA does not engage in political activity and operates exclusively for charitable purposes in furtherance of its mission.
